_{We have invested heavily in bringing you the absolute best experience in pub entertainment at The Jolly Abbot. This year we have put in two brand new, state of the art digital projectors. Both are top of the range in their brightness and contrast ratings and are the first of the new generation DLP Farouji projectors in the country.
The bar has a 108" traditional 4:3 screen and the lounge a 100" widescreen 16:9 screen. We are also the first and we believe only pub to have installed HDTV (High Definition TV) with 4x the picture quality. All this gives the best viewing experience in Rugby.
We have had to stop our subscription to Sky Sports AND Premiership Plus due to the MASSIVE RISES IN COST IMPOSED BY SKY (over 300% in 4 years!!!). But we show pretty much all the major sporting events on terrestial and Freeview as and when they come on. If you want to watch something specific, just ask and provided it does not conflict with other events we will be happy to put it on. Terrestrial TV & Freeview are available in both the bar and in the lounge on the widescreen.}

Our teams are the heart of "The Abbot". We have  pool,  skittles,  darts,  football, golf Tteams. So if you are into sports come and see us. Ladies skittles Mondays, Pool Tuesdays, Mens skittles Wednesdays, Mens darts Thursdays Quiz nights every Thursday 8.30pm  Poker Night Sunday 7pm.
